I would have preferred to see a woman in command of Atlantis as this will be the very last Space Shuttle flight.

I like the crew of four!

Not possible, after Pam Melroy left no other female is qualified to be a commander.

Sandra H. Magnus
Mission Specialist

Magnus (Latin) means Great
She is Sandra the Great!

Rex J. Walheim
Mission Specialist

Rex (Latin) means King
He is King Walheim!

:-)

Atlantis is the Greek name for the daughters of Titan Atlas.

Atlantis is also the Island of Atlas a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues written around 360 BC.

This very last Space Shuttle flight crew are the Kings and Queen of Space. Atlantis is the Queen of Space Shuttles.
