Very meaty article by Chris Gebhardt via two L2 presentations:

Interesting write up. Enjoyed that.

So, the post-Columbia stand-down now officially counts as Atlantis' last OMDP?

OMDPs evolved over the years and this is one of the many "things" affected by the accident and subsequent change in plans to a short-term retirement.

Nicely written. I appreciate all the detail/rationale regarding the OMDP issues as the last flights are flown out. I've been following the documents on L2 and this overview is very helpful with keeping everything straight in my head.
Thanks for not editing too tightly or making the article any shorter. I can't wait to get home tonight and give it a second read.
