I think they need to do more than this, as per L2 section, with the issues of the CLV simply not having enough "umph" to be viable.

CLV has the performance.  there is no issue with performance

The L2 section isn't starting that. It's showing the data, and some engineers have issues with it - which is why it went through the evaluations, post ISP info etc.etc. So it's a thread about the numbers, not problems with the numbers.
