Any TV webcasts available?

I wonder what kinds of things they can actually show while source selection is still going on.

Anything they want. The restrictions are on the gov't. The contractors can share what they want.

Well they've got an audio cast, so that'll have to do for now.

So much for 2:30, they've delayed it for now it seems.

I'm guessing this is the annoucement. KSC will assemble the CEV if LM wins.

And there was me getting all excited about something interesting :-/

Lockheed was the contractor originally proposing a winged orbiter seating 6. Does anybody know if they have changed design plans based on NASA proposal late last year?

Yep, they were the ones who orginally went with the lifting body:

But they have changed to the capsule style "Apollo on Steriods" design.

Just saw a clip on the local news (here in Brevard) about this. All they showed was a small auditorium of people and some suits talking at a podium. No audio... since it was just a generic script voiceover by the local anchor. BUT... the last few seconds showed a large model (~2 ft in length) of the basic Apollo-style CSM with 2 solar panels.... but with TWO honking big SPS engine bells on the back! It went by too quick to really see clearly.

I bet someone somewhere took a screen capture. That would be good. Time to check all the lockheed sites etc.
