Title: Winter survival training 2009
Post by: tonyq on 01/29/2009 12:21 am
Judging by the latest images in Esther Dyson's Flickr albums, a number of crews are doing survival training at present. Does Anik,(or anyone else) know the make up of these crews?

Thanks

Tony

(in russian)
6 cosmonauts/astronauts - 2 teams x 3 members (main and backup crews). And 10 participants of Mars-500 (2 teams of 5 members each)

They have to survive 2 days in a winter forest.

Thanks for the comprehensive update Anik.

Dyson has some photos on her Flickr site now as she did her training at the end of last week. Presumably the other groups are doing their's currently.
