Wow! The beginning was absolutely breathtaking!
One question: why is the STS-86 patch on the right arm of the space suits??
-
Well it's obvious now: Atlantis needs an extra robotic arm, just for the camera views. Do you think the engineers can throw one in? ;)
Amazing video.

Amazing video.
They can revive SPAS and put HDcams on it ;)
The SPAS is a German built free-flyer platform concept flown on two Shuttle missions: STS-7 and STS-41B. (I learned that on L2, and L2 definitely RULES!!!)
-
The SPAS platform flew on some other flights as well, as I recall. STS-39, STS-51, some others.

The SPAS that flew on 51 (and 66, 80, and 85) was actually an upgraded SPAS called ASTRO-SPAS. It could accommodate a UV telescope (ORFEUS-SPAS on 51 and 80) or infrared (CRISTA-SPAS on 66 and 85).
ORFEUS-SPAS carried the Remote IMAX Camera System (RICS) on STS-51. The shots of Discovery against the Earth background were used in the film Destiny in Space.

not sure if I am seeing things, but is that opening shot of Earth perhaps a picture that the 107 crew took? Maybe just me. Either way major judos to the guys doing these movies

while not directly related to the hubble servicing flight, it seems the telescope will have a new target after the mission thanks to a dutch elementary school teacher:

It's still on the L2 servers. We removed the thread from L2 when the video went public (as per nothing publically available is allowed on L2), but it's still on the server to download (for L2 members):
