Reasons of yesterday's and today's postponings of the launch were strong winds on height of 13 kilometres.

RIA Novosti is announcing the launch of SAR-Lupe 4.
ITAR-TASS is also announcing the launch (http://www.itar-tass.com/level2.html?NewsID=12524020&PageNum=0) (in russian).

If my calculations are correct, this was the 900th launch of an R-14 derivative, as well as the 441st Kosmos-3M launch.

My list shows 899 and 442, respectively, but I haven't done a top to bottom review of my list in a couple of years.

I've double checked. I have still got 900 R-14s, but you are right about it being the 442nd Kosmos-3M. I added up the past launches, and forgot to add today's one.

I think it was shown during the Cryosat launch too. IIRC, there were flames in the service tower.

Flames? It looks like securing launch pad from toxic components.

No, I was referring to the previous Kosmos launch, the one with Cryosat. I seem to recall there were flames in the ground equipment, though it appeared to be nominal. Perhaps I'm mistaken, just pointing out I'd seen the spraying before.

CryoSat was launched by Rokot-KM. The image is of the Rokot-KM Cryosat launch platform.

And that's another time my working by memory fails :) Of course, sorry about that. The spray system is similar, however.
