When I open the PDF the TOC links do not work however they are just references to pages further down the document. If you have the links you should also have the rest of the document just page down that.

Should have KU resume through TDRS-West in about 5 - 10 minutes as the complex starts to move north and east of New Zealand.

Currently Stan is ingressing the APFR on the SSRMS, getting ready to move the SOLAR payload up and away from the ICC-L carrier in the payload bay.

The spacewalk has slipped back in the time line, they may still have some time during the later half of the EVA for get ahead tasks.

Complex is about to pass over southern England on this pass, SOLAR is now bolted to the zenith (top position) EPF! Great job Stan, Rex, and Leland! :)

Now after cleanup of this task, they will get ready to the retrieve the failed CMG from ESP-2 (external stowage platform 2) outside the airlock that was placed there on STS-118, it will be taken off here and placed back in Altantis' payload bay for the ride home on STS-122.

PET is now almost 2:30 , 11 minutes to sunset, 11 minutes to the ZOE, they have attached the first European experiment while passing over Europe!

Halfway through this ZOE pass, 9 minutes to West coverage. Complex passing southwest of India over the Indian Ocean.

Loss of KU through TDRS-Z due to blockage, expect periods of S-band video and KU for the next 15 - 20 minutes as move away from TDRS-Z and start to move more under TDRS-West KU comm coverage, this is normal for every orbit.

PET is almost 3:00, Rex is finishing the handrail tasks, a few handrails will be installed later, and Stan is being moved to ESP-2 for the CMG removal.

Thanks, I thought I misheard that, it is tough to watch & listen to NASA-TV, look a satellite tracking program and transcribe and type what I hear at the same time. ;) Please bear with me with any mistakes I make, I'm doing the best I can juggling these three things at once :)

The EVAers are at ESP-2 and they are removing the clamshell thermal cover from the failed CMG that has been stored on ESP-2 since STS-118 last August, this thermal cover kept it "warm" while it was stored there. 36 minutes to East handover, 54 minutes to sunset.

We have KU back through West, complex is passing over the south central Pacific Ocean on a northeast pass, the EVAers are unbolting the failed CMG that failed in October 2006 and that was placed on the ESP-2 in August 2007.

28 minutes to East handover, 46 minutes to sunset, the EVAers has made up some time on the time line, we are coming up to a PET of 3:30

Stan is reporting some RTV lifting off from his left thumb of this glove, no vectran damage is seen.

These live event threads serve as a dual "live and readback" resource - plus the great work on here is allowing me to write up the articles for the news site, so we've got all the bases covered, and I'm very greatful to all that contribute to the coverage, especially when I'm on an awful connection for this mission.

I'd ask people to avoid duplicates. But our mods will delete those posts.

The failed CMG (I will refer to it as FCMG), is now unbolted and is being slowly moved away from ESP-2, it is on its way to the payload bay to be stored in the same location on the ICC-L where the SOLAR payload used to sit.

18 minutes to East handover, 36 minutes to sunset on this pass.

Atlantis is five minutes away from crossing the equator to start orbit 126. Stan is being moved into the 'high hover' position.

Richard, on the contrary, I think my noisy post should be considered unnecessary, but with all due respect I think you misunderstand the value you and others provide. Imho your transcribing sets a very high standard and is immensely appreciated -- I couldn't overstate if I tried.  The imagery and video somewhat speaks for itself and inspires awe, for sure, but without commentary like yours few of us (likely fewer and fewer of us, as readership grows) could fully appreciate the details and the significance of these events, whether they're happening LIVE or we're just catching up later (and still feeling like they're LIVE). As much as they mean well and try, the PAO just can't fill the void like you and others do here (kudos to Chris & NSF's founders too of course), nor can spending hours watching NASA-TV archives. You and all proper live commentators here provide an invaluable service for those who genuinely want to follow, appreciate and learn more about this unfolding history and the remarkable achievements NASA makes in the face of so many challenges.

I just see no reason for you to apologize for anything..  that is, until you're no longer motivated to provide commentary (that's when some folks will be pretty disappointed!)  :bleh:

Keep postin long as yer willin, Richard.

Handover to East has occurred with KU, complex passing by Maine and the Canadian Maritime provinces right now, Rex is making his way down to the payload bay to provide some GCA to Stan as he places the FCMG on the ICC-L, Stan cannot see much with the FCMG in front of him so he needs the extra eyes to place it down. The EVA is almost back on the normal time line again from an earlier 30 - 40 minute time line setback earlier.

8 minutes to the ZOE, have no KU and comm dropouts due to ISS blockage to TDRS-East, this is normal as we approach the ZOE, the FCMG is rocking as they try to place it on the ICC-L, the aft end comes up as the front end goes down.

3 minutes to West comm coverage, 13 minutes to sunrise, as the complex moves over the South Indian Ocean.

This pass will be a good one if we can maintain the current camera views looking aft, we will passing over the Central USA on this pass during the next 30 minutes, 5 minutes to passing over Baja California, Mexico and across the heartland of the USA. The EUTEF payload is now released and lifted up from the payload bay, now about 15 feet above and rising, Stan has a firm grip on it.

10 minutes to the ZOE, this ZOE gap is 8 minutes long this pass, but we may get KU through TDRS-Z as we pass through it depending on the station's attitude in regards to TDRS-Z. 20 minutes to sunrise.

Stan will now get off the APFR on the end of the SSRMS, all handrails are installed on Columbus now! :)

Just finished my daily catch-up with the flight day, using the NASA TV highlights reel and the commentary here in this thread.  Thanks  everyone!  If we ever invent an "NSF drinking game", it'll have to call for taking a sip everytime Richard/sts1canada inexplicably apologizes for his excellent commentary.  And JohnV is in the running for newbie of the day for his commentary at the end, especially the briefing transcription.  This is the first mission in a while that I haven't been able to follow live pretty much at all, due to work demands.  Thanks again.

Richard referred early in this thread to GCA meaning "ground control approach".  I thought it was something like "general clearance advisory".  Can someone tell us for sure what it is?  It's not in the acronym list.

Update:  thanks rdale, I've added "Ground Control Approach" to the acronym list.

It's "ground control approach" - GCA.

Same here.  I've been working during everything except the launch!  On my breaks I've been loggin on here and catching up.  The coverage and pictures have been excellent!  And they really helped put more meaning into the flight day highlights reel.  Kudos to everybody, old and new!
