VKD-56 Objectives:

‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎• Disconnecting an electrical cable between the РТОД / radiator and Rassvet
‎‎‏‏‎‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ • Removing a protective cover and closing fluid connectors
‎‎‏‏‎‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎• Unfastening of four launch fasteners affixing the radiator to Rassvet
‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎• Observation of the radiator transfer by ERA manipulator from Rassvet to Nauka
‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‎• Installation of ERA manipulator adapter on the airlock attached to Rassvet
‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎• Removing a protective cover from the radiator mounting interface on Nauka
‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎• Mechanical and hydraulic docking of the radiator to Nauka
‎‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‏‏‎ ‎‎• Connecting an electrical cable between radiator and Nauka

EVA Movie
The DOUG flight file was not available publicly (2nd occurrence).
I have followed up with the PAO on whether or not it is the new standard policy to not publicly share the DOUG flight files for Russian EVA
VR Lab got back to me and stated that there was "pushback" from "EVA stakeholders" on posting the DOUG file publicly. I have submitted a FOIA about the relevant details.

Nauka commissioning threads meta commentary
My rational for removing of # elapsed spacewalks and total # of spacewalks for Nauka commissioning from the title are:

1. Our current numbering scheme on the forum is incorrect.

VKD-49 - 1/10
...
VKD-53 - 5/10

We lost sync on the following threads (with myself inadvertently contributing to the error)
(This has been fixed)

VKD-ESA RS EVA (5/10 Nauka&ERA ops): 21 July 2022 [Artemyev, Cristoforetti] - This should have been 6/10 (Corrected)
VKD-54 RS EVA (6/10 Nauka outfitting): August 17, 2022 [Artemyev, Matveev] - This should have been 7/10 (Corrected)
VKD-54A RS EVA (7/1? Nauka outfitting): September 2, 2022 [Artemyev, Matveev] - This should have been 8/11. (Corrected)
VKD-55 RS EVA (8/13? Nauka outfitting): Nov 17, 2022 [Prokopiev, Petelin?] - This should have been 9/13. (Corrected)

2. The original estimate of 10-11 spacewalks is no longer valid. The most recent thread had listed 13 total spacewalks. However, the linked source for the increase in the total spacewalks stated 14-15 total spacewalks to complete commissioning.

I feel that tracking progress via N of X number of spacewalks is not the most representative picture of the evolving commissioning process.

According to NASA TV:

No spacewalk today, Prokopyev's suit had a problem with a backup pump.

No information yet about a new date.

Rob Navias said ventilation pump, not cooling.

Today’s spacewalk is cancelled due to an issue with one of the spacesuits. The #EuropeanRoboticArm, almost fully stretched, autonomously grappled a large radiator earlier is now going back to its home position on the #Nauka module.

Having started a number of those threads, I have corrected the OP titles as you indicated - thanks for checking it!

However, I feel the initial estimate of 11 was reasonably stable throughout the process so far: VKD-ESA and VKD-54A were not considered in the initial planning, so adding those to the sequence yields 13. Anatoly Zak lists 15 taking into account an additional preparatory one (VKD-48, which we did not count as "Nauka outfitting" because Nauka wasn't there yet :) ) . I believe the final source of disagreement between the two lists was due to the radiator taking up two EVAs at the beginning of the series, but now takes three - not sure whether the timelines were refined since then, some unexpected issues forced dividing up a single EVA into two, or something else.

So yeah, I agree it's probably not so worthwhile to keep track of Nauka's full commissioning with an (N/X) designator on each VKD, but we can also easily consider the current EVA to be the 10th in a series of 14, taking into account all revolve around a single objective.

Spacesuits repaired, and the #EuropeanRoboticArm is ready to work again outside the @Space_Station installing a large radiator on the #Nauka module. 👨‍🚀🔧🦾🛰️
The radiator mission will start on Wednesday 14 December (22h CET) and run the whole night until the morning (10h CET).

Can the #EuropeanRoboticArm operate in full sunlight? Yes, it can! 🤖😎
🤓 Fun fact: the whole spacewalk and radiator mission will take place for 12 hours with no orbital nights. This is because the International @Space_Station is in a high beta angle until 18 December.

Last week, the cosmonauts on board of the ISS repaired the pumps in the cooling system of one of #OrlanMKS spacesuits (and, according to the rumors, replaced the pumps in the second one). The next attempt to perform #VKD56 will be on December 15, 02:20 - 09:20 UTC.

Busy bees for the #EuropeanRoboticArm 🦾
Two spacewalkers will work tonight with @esa's space robot to install a radiator on the #Nauka module.
The night will be long: the robot will start moving around the @Space_Station at 22h CET. Spacewalk coverage begins at 3 am on @NASA TV.

A third crew member, Anna Kikina, will operate the #EuropeanRoboticArm from inside the International @Space_Station.

#DYK that the radiator mission happens during the high beta angle season? That means no orbital nights on the Space Station during the spacewalk.
