And here's our first video for 2009.  The flight, a bit delayed, but that much more spectacular.

Best frakking shuttle music video I've ever seen, period. Amazing work. Have got NO work done over the last hour re-watching this.

Oh my.  I think Chris has said something to the lines of "best one" on every one of these, but I think he's on to something.  ;)  I think this is the best one.

Wow.  Breathtaking.  Awesome.

Kick Ass.

Once upon a time at BATC project personnel would edit pictures, audio, and video of a project as it was being assembled, tested, and launched.

There'd then be a debut of a program video (think betamax time frame :-) at a welcome home party after shipment home of the launch campaign equipment.

With the advent of ITAR and the rise of strict security rules, this has fallen by the wayside here.  Pretty much the only time I see those old videos now is at the retirement party for the old grey beards whom were building those old spacecraft.

I work with people today whom were inspired to go to school and eventually join the ranks after seeing something like this 'back in the day'.

Here's hoping that some kid somewhere sees this video and does the same...

Great job!

Totally rocks. One stop mission review that'd work for Joe Public. Got to get this video passed along.

"Home" by New York band "Dream Theater". Haircuts required, or they'll never get into the Army :D

Oh...hence the title of the thread.  I didn't recognize that as the name of a song or band.

Dream Theater are probably not the best known band in the universe by the overall public, but they are at the front of progressive rock/progressive metal for the past 20 years. And "Metropolis Pt.2: Scenes from a Memory" from 1999 (from which this song "Home" is) is probably one of the greatest progressive albums ever written. (Just my opinion) ;)

So many good parts to this, especially the RPM, Flyaround and the undocking cam part at the end. Great work!
