This is going to be deferred because of launch failure of QZS-5.

Launch Postponement of MICHIBIKI No. 7, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-7)
aboard the 9th H3 Launch Vehicle (H3 F9)
January 7, 2026 (JST)
Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
The launch of MICHIBIKI No. 7, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-7) aboard the 9th H3 Launch Vehicle (H3 F9) which was scheduled on February 1, 2026(JST), has been postponed due to the necessity of conducting an investigation into the launch failure of the 8th H3 Launch Vehicle (H3 F8) and evaluating its impact on subsequent launch vehicles.
We have been committing all our resources and efforts to investigating the cause of H3F8 launch failure. The new launch schedule will be announced once confirmed.
