July 25, 08:54 Moscow Time: A Soyuz-2 rocket to launch the second pair Ionosfera satellites (No. 3 and No. 4) and a cluster of secondary payloads from Vostochny.As of October 2024, the launch was expected in April 2025, but by the end of 2024, the mission was set for June 17, 2025. In March 2025, the launch was expected on July 24-25.The Fregat upper stage for the mission arrived at Vostochny by April 11, 2025. At the launch site, the space tug was put into storage until the start of the active launch campaign a month later. On May 12, Roskosmos reported that specialists from Vostochny space center and from NPO Lavochkin had unpacked Fregat and installed into it processing rig for the upcoming electric and pneumatic tests preceding fueling operations. Roskosmos reported the start of fueling opeations on Fregat on June 4, 2025.
The installation of Aerospace Capital systems on the Fregat upper stage frame has been completed at the Vostochny Cosmodrome Assembly and Testing Facility.As part of the accompanying payload of the Ionosphere-M mission #3–4, 17 small satellites of Russian commercial customers have been integrated into 5 Aerospace containers. Namely:- 16U CubeSat SC InnoSat16 of Geoscan Group in a 16U Aerospace container;- 8 x 3U CubeSat SC Geoscan in 2 Aerospace containers 12U (4x3U);- 4 x 3U CubeSat SC of Ratex Research and Production Company JSC for the AstroLine space mission in a 12U (4x3U) Aerospace container;- 4 x 3U cubesat spacecraft of STC LLC in Aerospace 12U (4x3U) container.All the above satellites will be launched as part of the Ionosfera-M mission #3–4 using the Soyuz-2/Fregat launch vehicle.

The assembly of the space head part for the program of launching the Ionosfera-M spacecraft No. 3 and No. 4 and associated payload has begun at the Technical Complex of the Vostochny Cosmodrome.Specialists from the branch of JSC TsENKI - KC Vostochny, JSC NPO im. S.A. Lavochkin, and JSC Corporation VNIIEM installed the spacecraft on the transition truss.In the near future, the crew will begin joint electrical tests. After their completion, the farm with the spacecraft will be installed on the Fregat booster block.Next, specialists will roll the payload fairing and transport the assembled payload to the launch vehicle assembly and testing facility for integration with the third stage and the “package” (assembled 1st and 2nd stages) of the Soyuz-2.1b.
