A largely forgotten mission by now, but the three satellites continue to orbit the Earth in each other's vicinity and Kosmos-2581 and 2583 have recently been engaged in more rendezvous and proximity operations, apparently coming closer than 100 m. There's an excellent update in the latest edition of the Integrity Flash Newsletter, based not only on TLEs from the US space catalog, but also on data provided by COMSPOC.
