10 years ago today, STS-125 was in the final stages of its mission to service Hubble. STS-400 was the rescue mission on standby.

Why was Endeavour moved from 39B to 39A for its primary mission after 400 wasn't needed and not simply launch off 39B?

Why was Endeavour moved from 39B to 39A for its primary mission after 400 wasn't needed and not simply launch off 39B?
They were modifying 39B to support Constellation's Ares-1X missions to be launched in October.
