About that BFR...

How does it get to the launch pad?

If a returning BFR doesn't make it to the mount or crashes, doesn't that ruin the pad?

Scrutinizing the pad area before launch, looks like new two way flame trench, massive new LOX dome. No sign of a crawler of some sort, and the factory is out of the picture if it is at the end of that ramp.

Maybe they plan to eventually totally demo 39A and build a totally new pad I don't know. There is alot to discuss here this is just one thing, much more interested in raptor performance figures for one.

Little bit less than 30 minutes until the presentation starts hopefully we will learn alot more then.

I was thinking the same thing, that it would be easier to just build a new pad. The issue with doing to many changes to 39A (Complete Demo) is that 39A is a historical site so their could be issues with a complete demo.

Could they build at the original 39C?

You can make LOX from cooling air until it condenses out. Cryogenic fractional distillation. Don't need a factory, just a lot of electricity.
