Now that the crew's up (GREAT choice for a wake up call BTW! :D ), I've got to go to bed for a few hours in order to see the LAST Shuttle landing and then it's off to work.

Hmm... I suppose I COULD call in sick... (cough cough)  Nah, no one would believe me since I'm the space geek there and everyone knows what tomorrow is.  ;D

Just a quick aside before this day's major events begin - I will also be up early to watch Atlantis' landing tomorrow, and I'm looking forward to sharing it live with all of you here on NSF. Can't imagine being anywhere else! :)

I don't think I am going to sleep tonight  ...  Would love to watch every bit of it right up until wheel stop and then off to my lab to carry on with my research. Maybe a catnap here and there !!!

Thank you everyone for a great coverage. Good luck and Godspeed Atlantis!

At least we'll still have those views. Thanks ISS!

Still a while to go for deorbit preps to begin: 11:54pm Central.

Continued beautiful live views from ISS.  The Atlantis crew is seeing the same view from their flight deck a few minutes before we see these views, which gives a nice sense of continuity.

Tony Ceccacci described to an interviewer how he's been around since STS-1, and here's an image of him on our PROP team for STS-2:

Wayne Hale is in the view as well, and other esteemed colleagues.
