That's a stunner.

Lots of "no actions" getting sent up by Steve Robinson. Wonder if Atlantis is sending a number of messages.

Hardware C&W alarm is toggling on and off. Not worried, just wanted to make sure ground was aware. Inhibiting.

Hey, is Ellington a designated contingency landing site? Surely IAH could take her ;)
Was that a reference too - or did you see - this earlier? ;D

     Yup!
(And I think the answer is no --- although Dyess AFB and KGGG may be.)

Well we are getting another pass in daylight after all. Not complaining.
Yeah, how did this happen? PAO was previously saying that undocking would be in darkness, and the last sunset was the last opportunity to see a docked Shuttle in daylight.
   The dawn, however, is lovely.

Polling now underway. Flight director made some rather somber remarks regarding the undock, somber but true: this is really it, the end of the a 30 program that saw incredible success and stunning tragedy, but came through it all to teach us much about ourselves, our universe, and what humanity can do if we just stop arguing and work together.

To the shuttle, and the NASA teams, America salutes you.

Undocking is about 2 minutes 45 seconds after sunset.

Polling go for undocking.

Flight Director Kwatsi Alibaruho noted before the poll that this is the time we transition to where shuttles no longer visit the ISS.

Discussing maneuvers to occur after undocking, including a 90 degree station yaw to allow for shuttle pictures of undocumented areas of ISS.

Watch the child with her mother a last time. Now, that the child has grown-up, it's time to say good bye.
