Yesterday I was able to take the Discover KSC: Today and Tomorrow tour. I've done a number of different tours there in the past, and I'd have to say this one was just OK, except for one thing. This was my first time at the photo stop location between the pads. That alone was worth the price of the ticket.larger version of the image here: http://gallery.mac.com/erichlinder/100359/STS-135_on_pad-20001/large.jpg
Show-Offs! I'll be at NASA the 7th, 8th, and part of the 9th. Any recommended tours? I know they aren't going out on the 8th. So that leaves the 7th and 9th. As for the 7th, which tour might get me to see the pad? Thanks.

What's the rule on total attachments per page? Would like to post imagery from the June 17 media event, I can edit my existing post if need be.
Will they still be doing stops there on Thursday. I would have thought not but can anyone confirm?Quote from: ELinder on 06/15/2011 01:45 pmYesterday I was able to take the Discover KSC: Today and Tomorrow tour. Here's mine! Had to get one photo of my own for the last flight, as I did not get any for STS-133 launch so I could just soak up my first shuttle launch in Feb.

I was lucky enough to make it to the final launch of each of the remaining orbiters, so here's my photographic tribute to their final flights.

This almost has to be taken from the same weather station my wife and I watched from this morning. The only place elevated to see above the trees during landing and see the shuttle backlit against the building sunrise.
I'm posting photos and notes on STS135 - will update with additional links as each Part goes up.Blog Post: Atlantis Journal (Part 1) features "insider" photos of Atlantis and the STS135 crew on Launch Day -1 . http://ow.ly/5RuKOCheers,MLD
