Yeah, the full sequence set of those and a whole bunch more are in L2 since this morning, amazing. There's even an animated set from the sequence which is even more amazing. L2 way ahead again and not selected, but the entire sequence the astronaut takes

The crew was just asked by a reporter whether the manned space program was in disarray. Mark Kelly glanced over at his fellow crewmember (Chamitoff) and they talked a little bit before Mark responded. Mark said they were always concerned about the future but thought that the program would succeed in the future (paraphrasing, I'm trying to remember exactly what he said).

Really didn't come out in the screenshots, but I counted over 10 bits of debris (ice? Seemed to be from multiple areas). Not being referenced on the loop.

I thought the debris (what I also thought was ice) showed up at APU start, prior to the elevons moving.

I just got what will most likely be my last view of Space Shuttle Endeavour as it flew directly over Long Island, N.Y. at 3:38 a.m.
ISS was trailing about 10 seconds later.

I was very surprised to see that the view I had of ISS was quite a bit longer.

Wonder if it had anything to do with the shuttles orientation at the time for the plume experiment that was underway?

Heh, thanks for transcribing (no need if it's after as we'll have the video, but top work as that summary was a lot faster than downloading and watching).

So, maybe the CT guys can call for a lot of overheating bearings and Endeavour will pass over her older sister as she's rolling. Joking of course, but I'm trying to think of any remaining dual orbiter events on the same day and I'm struggling to think of one.

This description is from the STS-134 press kit:

Ram Burn Observations − 2 (RAMBO-2) is an experiment in which the DoD uses a satellite to observe space shuttle orbital maneuvering system engine burns. Its purpose is to improve plume models, which predict the direction the plume, or rising column of exhaust, will move as the shuttle maneuvers on orbit. Understanding the direction in which the spacecraft engine plume, or exhaust flows could be significant to the safe arrival and departure of spacecraft on current and future exploration missions.
