More like a US timezone mission for the main events for this FD.

Yep--EVA4 will be a bit more workable late night/early morning Pacific time, and very much looking forward to undocking and STORM come Sunday night!

The media events may not seem as bad now that everyone has had a couple of weeks to try to adapt...having said that, they're both still before 6 am local. :)  And the crew is still going to bed before noon here.

The song is Countdown from their Signals album

And of course it's a Canadian band  :)
(one of my favourite bands)

I can imagine the hit counter is going to skyrocket for that YouTube video in the next few days  :)

Actually only the second time I've ever seen it. Last time was years ago.

And it was the FD12 wake-up song for STS-109: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/gallery/audio/shuttle/sts-109/mp3/fd12.mp3 (2.6 MB). Real nice message from MCC at the end.
"For Sardines, space is no problem!"
-1996 Astronaut class slogan

"We're rolling in the wrong direction but for the right reasons"
-USA engineer about the rollback of Discovery prior to the STS-114 Return To Flight mission
