Nice writeup! And John Shannon's answer to why Dan wasn't familiar with this EVA was classic. psloss asked for a quick mention of the new EVA, and Dan wasn't sure what was being added so John smiled and said something like "You don't know yet because it isn't coming before the board until later today and I'm in charge of it."

Yes, I noticed that too. I also think he said something like "good sources"....which made me chuckle. Could almost mind-read the PAO in attendance thinking "darn it! I should have given Space.com the heads up on that!"

(Yeah, I don't hold a grudge, much).
