I have attached the only image I have of an Atlas facilities test airframe known as the Whalebone at Cape Canaveral. This device was also used at Atlas ICBM D and E coffin sites and possibility at SLC-3 and SLC-4. At this time I have no information of costs and how many of these were used.

It isn't a dead thread, the person who started this thread wanted input from other users on this forum as to the costs of the Whalebone for the Atlas Centaur and how many were used.

Not trolling, that would be apropos if Vahe231991 was trying to start fights.

Looking at S/He/it's phraseology and syntax I've often wondered if Vahe231991 was an AI posing as a human, or spoke English as a second language and truly thought they were helping, or were a very young/old person also feeling like they were helping and feed their #2 & #3 levels of Maslow's pyramid via posting on this forum.

This post was actually useful, I had never seen the whalebone before and learned something. However, there are also many other posts that are exactly the opposite, such as in the VG deal with Boeing subsidiary for 2 motherships, where Vahe231991 claimed "Since Scaled Composites used the fuselages of two 747s in construction of the Model 351 Stratolaunch...".

I've seen worse, but they could be more gracious with the LIKE button. ;-)

There are many ways to troll. He has posted to several dozen threads that have been dead for 5-13 years, often to provide an "update" that is itself many years old. And rather than engage in a discussion, he just responds to another thread that has been dead for a decade.
