It was nice to watch the Astronauts landing at KSC in their T38s. They all looked very happy!

Roberto Vittori... mmm... handsome! Two Italians will be up there in the Sapce Station! Forza Italia!

Commander Mark Kelly said they expected good weather on Friday at launch time. Also he said he expected his wife Mrs Giffords to be arriving there at KSC soon so she can attend the launch. Commander Mark Kelly seems very happy to go for the flight the same as all the other Asttonauts!

I think this will be a great mission!!!

while this is a great shot, and the photographer's work is exquisite (http://www.flickr.com/photos/rocketmanfla/) it's simply got to be a composite. i've seen the milky way on the east coast before, at cape cod, looking straight up, but i defy any camera on earth to resolve it at a coastal horizon without an equatorial mount, while otherwise correctly exposed for the orbiter on the pad.

oh, and go endeavour!

When I remember Endeavour in the future I will remember a dramatic maiden flight with the first 3 person EVA and a successful satellite rescue, STS-61 the mission that saved Hubble and STS-118 bringing closure to Challenger.

Fair winds and following seas Endeavour and bring yourself and your crew home safely one last time.

I'm obviously disappointed (as I took off from work today to watch the countdown and launch), but given the choice I'd rather watch scrub turnaround rather than royal wedding!
