Does this delay have anything to do with the upcoming EVA?
Both EVA-20 & EVA-21 are planned between now and the departure of Soyuz TMA-05M, per 10/17 ISS status report.

Have we confirmed that the launch has been delayed till Dec. 19 and why?
I wonder why after Soyuz TMA-08M all future Soyuz and Progress are listed with two days delay from launch to docking, and not with same day launch & docking?
