These MITEE engines are nice. A T/W of 20 is pretty good for an NTR especially such a small one!

Personally, I've always wondered if you could combine the concept of a dusty plasma FFRE with a nuclear light bulb closed cycle "liquid core" NTR with the FFRE operating inside a transparent slit reactor.
