Ongoing SSLV preparations take the FLP out of play for other launches.  Both launches, of Amazonia and GISAT-1, will apparently stage from the SLP.

The open question is: which is first, and which follows?

The next launch is Amazônia-1. Presumably GISAT-1 will follow.

https://forum.nasaspaceflight.com/index.php?topic=50228.msg2169645#new

Dr.Sivan, ISRO Chairman, did not mention PSLV/Amazonia as the next launch. He was only mentioning this launch due to its significance as it has some satellites from private Indian companies. Unfortunately, the media deduced it as the first launch.

Also, FLP may not be occupied by SSLV as this rocket is on-demand and can be stacked up at the very end. I believe, they will use the new buildings developed as part of PIF project.

TOI, Isro aims for 7 more launches from India in 2021, updated March 12
Slight "bet hedging" in the article, as opposed to the earlier news immediately up-thread: launch in March-April.

Cross-post:

New launch date is April 18th

The Indian Space Research Organisation has revised the launch schedule of geo imaging satellite GISAT-1 on board GSLV-F10 rocket following a "minor issue" with the spacecraft.

The Bengaluru-headquartered space agency was earlier looking to launch the satellite on March 28, subject to weather conditions.

"There is a minor issue with the satellite", ISRO sources told PTI.

"As of now, we are planning to launch it on April 18".

GISAT-1 was originally planned to be ..

Strange, last year, it was “technical issue”. I even read an article some months ago, which suggested that last year’s launch was scrubbed at the last minute. The PMO intervened because pressure came from Washington. To be honest, ISRO didn’t say what was the official reason behind last year’s postponement.

What quotable evidence do you have to suggest this?

“The satellite has some voltage fluctuation issue which is delaying the launch," one scientist in the know told TOI.

Not very clear whether the launch is going to be delayed past April 18th. Possible.

More delay to be expected for this launch due to the pandemic

https://react.etvbharat.com/telugu/andhra-pradesh/city/nellore/works-suspension-in-shar-due-to-corona-virus/ap20210427101859457

it seems that only ISRO is affected by COVID-19...all other space agencies/ companies are actually going faster than usual

 its really frustrating :'( :'( :'(

Further, with the demand for oxygen shooting up from the hospitals to save Covid-19 patients, the Indian space agency's rocket may not be getting oxygen to power itself for some time to come thereby delaying its space missions.

The ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) at Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu is supplying oxygen to hospitals to save Covid-19 patients.

The satellite and the rocket (Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle - F10 (GSLV-F10) are ready at the rocket launch centre in Sriharikota.
