Pursuant to Section 25.120 and 1.62 of the Commission’s Rules, ATLAS Space Operations, Inc (ATLAS) requests Special Temporary Authority (STA) for an additional thirty (30) days, for the operation of our satellite earth station in Dededo, Guam (Call Sign E190037) to communicate with the Antaris Janus-2 satellite. The current 30 day STA grant (SES-STA-20240408-00879) expires on January 29, 2025. The Janus-2 satellite was originally scheduled to launch in March 2024 but has encountered numerous delays. The most current expected launch date is now March 31, 2025. As per our previous requests, ATLAS intends to only provide Launch and Early Orbit Phase (LEOP) TT&C support for Janus-2.Due to the numerous delays in the customer’s launch date, ATLAS is requesting the Commission’s consideration of acting on this STA extension request closer to the next expected launch date of March 30, 2025. Any additional launch delays will be communicated with the Commission through supplements to this application in ICFS.
