I wonder if the attached screenshot from Google Maps shows the most useful comparison: two flame trenches, with the newer one on the right?

The one on the right was never completed and will not be finished unless it is repurposed.  We talked about it in one of the earlier threads.

How many days gap since the test firing of 0029?

Bump.

It's been 3 days, any word?  Maybe another 2-3 test fires?

IIRC, Roadie said he noticed a wayward first stage at McGregor as well.

So:
0019, 0022, and 0026 lost on landing/End-of-life
0021 - Orbcomm-2 - on display in Hawthorne/EOL
0023 - CRS-8 - Last photo at HIF in great condition, still at cape(?), candidate for reuse?
0024 - JCSAT-14 - Last photo at McGregor going through test fires, at least three so far
0025 - Thaicom 8 - In Hawthorne?
0027 - CRS-9 - Last seen on a crane at the Cape, still at cape(?), candidate for reuse?
0028 - JCSAT-16 - Last seen on a hook at Port Canaveral, still at cape(?)
0029 - AMOS-6 - Last seen on a truck between McGregor and the Cape

So if 0025 is in Hawthorne, how are two at McGregor (???? and 0024)?

(I know quoting myself is a party foul, but this isn't the party thread)

Probably just fooling myself trying to keep these cores straight, but anyone know anything else than what's above?

Edit: added 0029 from above, this thread

If we can guess, or hope, I would like to imagine that an unexplained core might be the center core for the FH demo flight. how could we tell?

0025 is definitely in Hawthorne, it's parked on the street near 0021 based on pictures in the thread about the 0021 display.

There seems to be some confusion re: stage serial numbers and vehicle flight numbers.  This discussion seems to be using flight numbers (because serial numbers are really hard to come by).  If so, I think we should stick to the F9-xxxx nomenclature for clarity.  See:

From what I've read on Reddit these F9-xxxx are all flight specific numbers / codes / whatever, and the actual stages are designated independently of these as well (and as reuse becomes a thing this will be relevant).

https://www.reddit.com/r/spacex/comments/4yxuqs/best_of_b1019_raised_vertical_at_spacexs/d6ra814

https://www.reddit.com/r/spacex/comments/4yxuqs/best_of_b1019_raised_vertical_at_spacexs/d6rc6k5

For example, Flight F9-0021 (Orbcomm OG2) had first stage w/ serial number B1019. Flight F9-0023 (CRS-8) had first stage w/ serial number B1021. If B1021 is reflown again as say, Flight F9-0035, the stage itself is still uniquely B1021.
Space is not Highlander.  There can, and will, be more than one.

F9-0025 is the Thaicomm-8 stage, is it not? The Thaicomm-8 stage is definitely the one parked on the street at Hawthorne.

Ultimately, we're going to track these if we can by using the "B1xxx", "B2xxx", etc numbers combined with the flight numbers.  Supposedly, SpaceX labels the boosters with the "B" numbers, but they are small and hard to see from any distance.

Do we have any images of the serial number on a booster?
I did ask if anyone could spot the S/N on the "monument" in Hawthorne, but no one has posted it.
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?

Recently, a Chinese Fan took some photos of McGregor. We can see F9-24 was on the test pad, and the orange cap is back

edit: He said these photos were taken on 27 August
