There was a forum, Nasaspaceflight
That kept many a nerd up late night
With scrubs in the morn
Going to work forlorn
SpaceX did finally get it right

If rockets were like LEGOŽ bricks
Which snap right together with clicks
By now we'd have bevies
Of cool Falcon Heavies
And some Raptor/Falcon 9 mix

Okay, it's not a limerick, but I was feeling a bit constrained and figured I'd relax the constraints.  ;D

This downtime leaves us quite a mess
    And so I post again
If we just had an RSS
To pull a piece or ten

Or we could weld some trusses up
    Just like designers drew
To make up a new access arm
    For our commercial crew

    But lacking the initiative
    And money, that the most
    I'll just keep writing poetry
And to this thread I'll post

Next! 8)

I hope someone makes a school bus traversing the moon mockup photo in preparation for the FH demo mission. I'm sure there is some educational benefit to explaining to children that there is a school bus in orbit, just can't quite put my finger on it.

Incidentally, I played the S**T out of this game as a child. Thanks for the throwbacks!

If this isn't the right place to bring it up please move or delete.

I'm suggesting that the SpaceX satellite Constellation is a foundation for a Global Digital Financial Company that fits with EMs original ambitions for X.Com . Further that something in the current zeitgeist that fits with that is a scamcurrency.

SpaceX could create an Xcom global financial system on the basis of a ubiquitous global digital communications system.

On top of that SpaceX has the opportunity to create a special scamcurrency. Call it XCoin.

XCoin would have unique opportunities. Unlike Bitcoin or Ether it would have a floor value if it was accepted at a sort of book value for SpaceX Services. Those services might constitute a universal global standard. Most people on earth might value easily obtained digital internet service that's low latency, high bandwidth and everywhere.

XCoin on this foundation could also be a vehicle to pay for Mars Settlement or for ordinary people to invest in that.

Waiting for the next lunch has me looking for alternative reasons for the delay:

Think the search is just hallucinations from going without a lunch for so long?

It's been nearly a month since the last SpaceX (or US orbital) launch. These are truly the dog days of summer. But I have this Falcon 9 here to cheer you all up:

I'll even excitedly look forward to "flags and footprints" and suborbital missions. Just fly...somewhere.

If you really want to annoy some people who are into fad diets, send them this guy's "Gluten Intolerance" video.

No thanks, I really enjoy the red flames with a touch of green at the start of my lunch. It's not a lunch without the flamy sear marks on the bun...

Oh, there's launches this year and plenty
The count could close to twenty
And men of over ninety who sware the earth is flat

Give me a martian rover
Iani Chaos spilled over
We'll roam Utopia all over
and together we'll see a new world

You should also have posted the link to the article explaining this:

Following the space program since before Apollo 8.

Actually I pulled it off of Electrex's article, https://electrek.co/2017/07/27/tesla-model-s-chaser-car-launch-spy-planes-royal-air-force/ that Flight Global's Stephen Trimble, https://twitter.com/FG_STrim tweeted this morning, https://twitter.com/FG_STrim/status/892351094751449088

If you really want proper accreditation.... Now where Electrex may have lifted it from is a whole other story

btw. The video is dated 7/26, Electrex's story is dated 7/27, and Popular Mechanic's story is dated 8/1
