The 9ifly space forum post on HaiYang launches (dated July 19) was apparently reproduced from this site where the launch of HY-2 is said to be planned for this year.Another poster in the same forum on the same date declares: "the launches of Beidou and HuanJing-1C are postponed to next year, the Indonesia satellite [Palapa-D1] will be the next launch."
According to a chinese space forum, it is possible that the next Beidou launch could take place at the end of August.
According to Indosat, Palapa-D will be launched in August. Then I wonder if Compass-G3 could make it in August also from Xichang
According to a Chinese forum, three Chinese domestic satellites have suffered major failures this year (Compass-G2 is seemingly one of them); consequently the upcoming Beidou-2-follow-ups launches have been delayed.
Any idea which other satellites have failed, and whether the failures have resulted in a loss of mission? Can you provide a link to the post please.Thanks.
