What exactly is tile slumping? This sounds like a bad thing.

This video features a unique mix of footage from NASA’s space shuttle missions STS-8 and STS-7, sourced directly from the National Archives (reference 255-fr-c816). Although the footage lacks audio and detailed labeling, it offers a fascinating glimpse into these historic missions.

The video showcases:

STS-8 Challenger Mission: Footage of the shuttle's reentry, launch and onorbit. The first reentry scene and launch appear to be from STS-8, which was the first shuttle night launch and carried out in August 1983.

STS-7 SPAS Rendezvous: Additional footage at the end may include scenes from the STS-7 mission showing the deployment of the SPAS-01 satellite and possibly the reentry.
