During the science CRS-8 briefing, Bigelow mentioned that the only LV that can launch the B330 (now and for the foreseeable future) is an Atlas V 552 namely because of its taller fairing. The LEO B330 would be launched in 2020.

He also says that if NASA agrees to it, he would like to rent out the BEAM commercially to companies and foreign governments who have already shown interest in using it.
Well, if they would need an Atlas V Long fairing, then SpaceX would need to add 5.5m of length to their fairing. Given the 13m total length, that's just a 50% increase and would seem feasible.

The BEAM portion of the CRS-8 press conference begins at the 45:40 mark. An interesting and informative presentation.  This was the first time for me to watch Robert Bigelow speak, and I thought he was an effective presenter.

And thanks YG1968, for the link to the Nextstep-2 BAA effort. I'm hopeful for Bigelow and their potential role in it.

Based on what I saw in the video, I would say no cause for concern. To me, Mr Bigelow was just laying out the overall pros & cons of this CRS-8 demonstration mission for them. There were no questions from the media addressing this topic during the rest of this press conference.

True, but the working environment at that company doesn't exactly set the bar high for quality control.

Interesting video inside BA-330... mock-up, that is.
Spacious interior, no feel of being in a sardine can.

The chess pieces may be finally moving for Bigelow, with a launch provider that's experienced with space station technology and a crew vehicle. Exciting stuff.

Puts Bigelows' comments about the BEAM "lying around for a year" in a bit more context. As well as his, seemingly frustrated comment about there being only one fairing big enough for the B330 for the...forceable future.

Having to launch on Atlas is not totally bad news, at least the BA330 will make it to space and on schedule.

I was thinking that. Perhaps, it's a partnership in the sense that Bigelow gets a reduced price for an Atlas V 552 in exchange for using the Atlas V for a number of launches.

I wasn't implying that it is bad news at all. Seems like this is his only predictable path forward at this time. Let's see what arrangements they came up with, could be very exciting.

Just one proviso, ULA is not experience yet with a crew vehicle as I'm assuming you mean StarLiner. And even if they were, it's Boeing they would be dealing with for that.

Is "forceable future" a misspelling or a hint at some hand wrenching applied to mr. Biglow by unnamed entities wrt the choice of business partners?

All launch companies have problems with their rockets, ULA is not immune to this. They are currently experiencing a problem that is delaying several launches. I am confident they will figure this out and and begin launching again as soon as they can.
