Screenshot from the LCC shows the satellite having one single solar array (in fact it looks like SJ-9B, which shares the same satellite platform). Maybe it carries infrared camera/spectrometer payloads? (infrared cameras needs large radiators for cooling, which may occupy up to a full side of the satellite)  ::)
