Do you think we will get enough data to pick a winner? ;-)

Great views of history on deck! I won't call a winner until its back in port, but I think someone got it right!

The important thing is that it is sufficiently off-center to make future bingo games interesting.

What was weather and see conditions at the barge at the time of landing. I see some white caps and the exhaust drifted a bit...been worried they might only be able to stick a landing if everything was "perfect".

Forgive my ignorance...does a crew head out to the barge and secure the rocket???

-B

P.S. That was the sh*t.

Yes, the support barge will be headed to OCISLY at full steam. Known plans for securing the rocket are to weld steel "shoes" over the feet on the legs, they will probably jack some sort of support stand under the rocket itself as well.

SpaceX-provided visuals of the landing were fantastic - full-HD, real-time, most of a fly-around after landing.  Very well done!

Keep in mind that is a NASA chase plane, not SpaceX - but hopefully SpaceX can muster up a chase plane or two in the future!
