I haven't seen any reference to this launch taking place. Is there any hint on the Chinese forums about this mission?
The KZ-1A mission previously schedule for November 25, is now schedule for December 26 according to Spaceflightfans.cn.

See that "SD-1" on the right? It will be on SD-1's first flight, which is in queue after Hyperbola-1.BTW according to someone at CASIC, after these two flights they will have two KZ-1A flights from the mobile pad at Jiuquan, then the CZ-11 flight with Zhuhai-1, then CASIC will use those pads for the rest of the year.

spaceflightfans.cn currently lists Jielong-1 for launch on August 17 (TBD) and the next KZ-1A launch on August 29 (TBD).
From a source at CASIC: The payload is a small research satellite from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. A launch patch just released identified it as "KX-09" - it's probably one of those public research projects that were previously selected to fly. Help is much appreciated if someone can dig through CAS' journals for hints.

The satellite itself is built by Shanghai Engineering Center of Miicrosatellites (http://www.microsate.com/yanjiushengjiaoyu-daoshijieshao-yujinpei.html). But the link gives no details. Maybe the attached pdf put some more light onto the mission. Some parts are handwritten. Can anybody of our Chinese friends translate it?Would be interesting to know if other KX satellites have ever been launched. In 2016 another source was saying that CAST DFH is developing a KX satellite series. But maybe this is totally different.
Do we even know what 'KX' means?

The second post is also saying there are two satellites."In addition to the Space Science Star of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the launch should also have a satellite of the Tianyi Institute."
