According to a thread on the 9ifly Chinese space forum, the first flight of the Zhongke-1A launch vehicle will take place on September 2021.

This is a strange one - Chinese forum members noticed that the rocket’s description and capability matches exactly with the under-development Long March 11A, except with a bigger fairing option.

The company is a semi-state enterprise one that is running as a spin-off company of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (hence the Zhongke name), I wonder if this is just a “downstream LSP” buying launch services from CALT and rebrand it under their own name (like airlines code-sharing)? CALT doesn’t seems to have sold this rocket project away either...

Or (unlikely IMHO) they are developing their own rocket but somehow got all the parts as is elsewhere? Questions, questions...  ::)

UPDATED: November 7 (~07:00) - Gushenxing-1 (Y1) - JSLC - Tianqi-11

According to reports the satellite on board this flight is Tianqi-11, from the same series of LEO IoT communications satellites that has been launched on various flights over the past 2 years.

Target orbit is 500 km high, 97.4° incl. SSO with launch azimuth 191.6° and a projected launch phase of 900s long and 4700 km down-range distance.

Apparently it also got a mission name a la Rocket Lab: "I believe I can fly".  :P

Three more launches in the following two months from Xichang, including those of Gaofen-14 and Tiantong-1 03

CZ-11 with GECAM was deferred earlier this year to the end of the year so that would round out the three.

From 9ifly (via web translation):

The "Haisi-1" (海丝一号) satellite was jointly developed by the 38th China Electric Power Research Institute, the Tianyi Research Institute and other participants. The satellite's research and development work started in June 2019, and now it passed the factory review, marking the completion of all satellite research and development work. According to the plan, the "Haisi-1" satellite will be shipped to the Wenchang Satellite Launch Center in the near future, and launch at the end of 2020.

Another picture

https://forum.novosti-kosmonavtiki.ru/index.php?topic=18607.msg2079572#msg2079572

Is this the first 3B/G5 ?

The fairing is longer than the 3B/G3. So therefore it is likely the first 3B/G5.

Any further news regarding the launch schedule to Chinese New Year (Friday, February 12, 2021)?

December 20 - CZ-8 - WSLC, LC201 - XJY-7, Zhixing-1A, Haisi-1, Tianqi-10, ET-SMART-RSS

Tianqi-10 has already been launched on 25 July 2020 on a CZ-4B.  So this is perhaps the next in this series, Tianqi-12 ?
