Right, simply forgot the cheesy grin emoticon but what's wrong with tribal electricity on Mars anyway?
Visit the thread. It's a non starter, really. Far too small power output to be worth the mass or trouble. That's according to everyone's analysis of the available literature (which is pretty poor) except one person... er sorry, one "team".
Lar "Tribal electricity".  🤪

(This is the party thread, do not take anything here too seriously) :)

  Hey. They laughed at Newton and Einstein you know.
 Then again, they laughed at Soupy Sales too.

 Never mind.

They laughed at Professor Irwin Corey, The World's Foremost Authority, as well. A true intellectual.

They laugh at everything... Except my jokes. Let me try one on you guys....

SLS is way over budget and way late and Boeing blames everything and everyone except them. Because they got 90% of the max incentives for excellent performance, so how could it be their fault?

... what? You're not laughing?

Yeah, me either.

Well, I think the OIG report explains why EUS development is paused.

A perfect consequence for Boeing's poor performance could be reassignment of the EUS to another company (like BO).

That's *a* possible consequence.  Whether it's perfect or not? I can think of a lot more (but unlikely to actually happen) ones....  wait... cancel that thought, it's crazy.

How is Total Ghost not already part of #dearMoon?

Elon said it was the SpaceX theme song, so I think spaceX is obligates to take them to space.

This is great conversation. Learned more here than on Google news.

No need for arguments, FFS! In the past, some have leaned. We will see in daylight later. Nothing (much) to see here. Move along...

I am leaning towards what Matt said.

Would they have to wear J-Crew brand clothing to qualify as a Crewed flight?

Clearly they're avoiding prime numbers greater than two.  I don't see any other more plausible explanation.

No, it is clearly based on powers of two...

20 = LZ 1
21 = LZ 2
22 = LZ 4

History has shown that Elon would be perfectly capable of using whimsical numbers, like 420 for the Tesla share price announcement. I vote for LZ-π!

Given Elon's penchant for whimsy and pop culture references, I feel like he missed a perfect chance to throw everyone a Holy Curveball of Antioch.  (LZ-)1, (LZ-)2, (LZ-)5!

I was assuming that LZ-3 was reserved for the (improbable) FH center core RTLZ pad, but clearly the suggestions here are much better.

The Online Encyclopedia of Integer Sequences gives us a wide range of possiblities to choose from. For example A268448, Numbers n such that (35*10^n - 11)/3 is prime, proceeds 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 14, 21, 27, 34, 53, 72, 96, 145..., which would allow people to mistakenly think that LZ-3 had just been "forgotten" for quite a long way into the future...

I figure that the lack of an LZ-3 is because no one wants to deal with a lazy bum ;)

That's 5 minutes on the party thread I'll never get back. Or was it three?
