T-10 minutes. Weighing 1,425 kilograms, IRNSS 1I (like the other seven satellites in the constellation) will transmit signals for the determination of position, navigation, and time.

Although IRNSS 1I will be the ninth in the constellation to be launched, it will actually be the eighth to enter service since IRNSS 1H got stranded in Low Earth Orbit after the heat shield failed to jettison.
