STS-26 Ascent Capcom
« on: 06/07/2010 04:07 pm »
Who was the ascent capcom on STS-26, the first flight after the Challenger accident? And for future reference, where might I be able to find this kind of information in the future? I've scoured the 'net, but haven't been able to find anything yet.

John Creighton.  Look for historical press releases from JSC (since that's where Mission Control is).  For example, for STS-26:

apollo18cdr- email me offline and I will electronically send you a list of all the capcoms and flight directors from MR-3 to STS-132. If any other members want the same list, email me offlist.
