Credit to RGV flyover for the screen shot.  They formed and poured the pedestals for the tanks with a half-pedestal on each end.   Looking in the direction of the Lab Cam, the left feet of the first tank are sitting on the half-pedestal next to the existing tank farm.  The right feet of the final tank will sit on the half-pedestal obscured by the fence, guard shack, and various vehicles that keep parking in front of that area.

Paint drawing.jpg shows what I surmise to be the final layout.

In the second picture, the tank is installed.  To bad the new guard shack is in the way, but we should have good visual for the 6th and final tank.
There are pedestals for nine tanks.

alugobi,
You are correct, I surmised myself the same after I made my post but I had to take some time to cut and past using Paint to illustrate.  Check here is what I see as of today and there is a tank missing between 3 and 4.

There is a clear gap of one tank. I expect it to be filled up at some point, but I don't know why they didn't do that with #4. There was supposed to be a separation, but the space is too big for that.

Check the alignment of the small building in the last two pictures (in RED square).

I have spent the day watching LabPadre, and there have been several trucks hauling away dirt. Front-end loaders have been continuously working, and now, late in the day, a truckload of rebar is being delivered.

If you look closely at the pedestals you will notice that they are spaced for two different sizes of tanks. Four larger and 5 slightly smaller (at least with regard to the distance between supports).

My assumption on skipping one is that it hasn't arrived at the port yet.

One additional tank installed (checked), two additional letters installed (checked)

I know it will be "Gateway to Mars" but wouldn't it be better if it spelled out "Journey to Mars"? It sounds more inviting..

But that location is not the journey. It's the gateway to it.

Current status.  They found out the "E" was made backward.   ;D

Got the "E" fixed, now in final mounting sequence.  I think there is room for one more letter.

Need to move the yucca tree out of the way along with the road sign.

Is this the E you ordered?

Rumour that Amazone Prime dropped the "E" on delivery.

Mars is on average 225 million kilometers from the OLM

Dude, you need to get out more.

Thanks,  I know,  but I'm a 24/7 caregiver for a dementia patient, so I monitor day and night and I keep myself occupied on NSF in between cat naps.  Actually, cats don't take naps, they sleep all day long and awake all night long, I'm more like a seal on a rock trying to sleep and constantly awaken to see if anyone is going to attack me.
