No, this is not even vaguely relevant. While the article sensationalizes it and makes it sound like a new discovery, the abstract clearly states that the device was specifically designed to create the "strange" effects. It sounds weird because it is based on quantum, and quantum doesn't work like most people would expect, but it is not new physics. Similar quantum effects is why transistors work for example. Certainly it is not new physics that suggests breaking of fundamental conservation laws.
