Look at the decay of the deployment rods (debris in green) for L4 vs L3 and earlier.
A crude measurement on the graphs shows the slopes ~3X steeper at the start.
My simple approximation said that the drag averaged around the elliptical orbit would be 4X, even thought the average altitude was 20 or so km higher than the previous circular orbits.
Pretty good agreement.
What kind of wastrels would dump a perfectly good booster in the ocean after just one use?
