Where was that video shot from? Looks like a great place to watch a landing.
Quote from: cscott on 08/16/2017 11:28 pmWhere was that video shot from? Looks like a great place to watch a landing. The sonic boom arrives 11 or 12 seconds before landing. This is MUCH earlier than what was experienced at OSB-II, which is 10.5 miles (~55 kft) 12 seconds is ~14 kft, and if there was a 5 sec delay at the OSB-11 (just guessing) that makes it ~20 kft closer for a distance of ~35 kft or ~6 milesJetty park is ~ 5 miles from LC-1. Rt-401 is about 6.5 miles. For those that have watched, which does it look like?
This landing video was shot from LC37B:

I regret that I have but one Like to give to this video. Utterly fantastic tracking job! I watched the final burn through landing half a dozen times!

I watched the final burn through landing half a dozen times! At 6:17 of the video, there was a little fire from the central engine for about 3 seconds. That was between the reentry burn and landing burn.
Pretty fancy setup they used for that video!
Thanks guys! That was my video, I guess I should post future videos to the forum as well.
