So....I guess it is possible to land and re-fly an orbital class rocket.  What's next SpaceX?  :)
Stage 2 :)

Here's a different take on things from North Korea:

United States technological dwarfs forced to recycle rockets for limping space program.

Mighty missiles of DPRK are used once and once only

Genius!

Is that a spoof?

It is a funny, sometimes hysterical, feed. It claims to be real, I'm not sure!

It's a parody account that has managed to fool a lot of real news organizations.

I am so glad I got to see this! History was made today! Congrats to all involved!

I can't help but feeling one of the greatest days in history that 99% of the developed world doesn't even appreciate.

I would say keep re-launching it until it fails.  But then again, I'm not a paying customer or the insurance company.

That was awesome! Now can I get some volunteers to help me drag these goalposts?  They are getting really heavy!

But but but they haven't proven reusability will actually drive down the costĦĦĦ [/irony]

Wait until you see both FH boosters return for a landing and that entire vehicle gets flown again.  :o

That was crazy, but we survived it again, with guests on. Again, the continually beefed up servers are dealing with these events. Thanks to Mark and thanks to the L2 members that allow us to throw a boat load of cash at IBM to pay for these servers.

Check out the surge for launch and landing - and the coast (where a lot of people move their eyes from the webcast to the forum). ;D

That first bar is actually a very busy site! A few years ago, that first bar would be a point we'd go Bad Gateway! The top one is ludicrous mode.

Yes, going to party like I actually watched the launch instead of being stuck in a meeting with the west coast that droned on forever. What do you mean you have to go, it's only three. We are also eating a late lunch.

Today was an emotional rollercoaster for me.  I had to take my beloved cat Kira in for surgery this morning, her second in a month.

Without going into great detail, it went well and I brought her home after work, in time to watch the launch.

There were about a half dozen ways today could have gone horribly wrong.  Instead it went as well as it possibly could have.

Way to go Chris G with the last question and the level of detail!!! Block 5 details!!! Awesome.

There was a presser about seven years ago where Chris asked a question of the ISS manager and he said "That's an excellent question, really excellent".

Now he's got praise from Elon.

Brilliant reporter and a great guy. Overjoyed for him!

This IBMer (and IBM stockholder) would like to say "thank you for your business!"

This life L2 member would like to say "if you need more cash, please pass the hat to the lifers, we're good for some more cash"

Yes, after I asked and looked, I realized it.  Also, when I realized that NK doesn't have the technology to get on twitter in the first place!!  LOL
