@Astro_Doug Demo-2 mission expected challenges and things to go wrong but mission went just like the simulators from start to finish all the way. There were no surprises. Expected entry to vary from simulator, but vehicle was rock solid and things went exactly as expected.
Hurley: expected more surprises, but mission went just like simulators. Esp thought there'd be surprises during reentry, but not. We felt just what we were trained to feel--not as much as a Soyuz landing, but a firm splashdown-- and how we bobbed in the water. Compliments to SpX.

One interesting thing that Doug Hurley mentionned at the end of the press conference is that at the time of the Demo-2 launch, the software for Forward docking port was ready but the one for the Zenith port wasn't yet ready. So it's one thing that will still need to be tested in future missions.

One of the many private boaters to make a beeline for SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule in the Gulf of Mexico Sunday said there was no clear instruction given from any party on what boaters should and should not have done during the estimated 90-minute window that the NASA spacecraft spent bobbing in the sea before recovery.Boater Chris Tipton said he and others on the estimated 30 boats in the vicinity that afternoon were excited to witness history and just wanted to get close enough to capture the moment via video and photo.
