I vote for the school bus.  The cowboy could wear a frizzly wig instead of the cowboy hat.

Going with the theme of inflatable farm animals, I believe sending a large inflatable cow around the moon would serve many purposes, all noble.

A cow would be noble at all ... just don't forget the aerobraking (or should that be aero-baking?) thing on the way back.  ;)

Build the inflatable cow out of thin PBO or PIBO and make it large enough, and it may well actually survive entry  ;)

If we assume a spherical cow[1], then we don't have the proper lifting body shape so we're looking at no chance for aerobraking. However if it's sufficiently "fluffy"[2] there may be a way to survive reentry anyway.

1 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spherical_cow
2 - who names their cows Fluffy anyway, that's a cat's name. But cats don't have reentry problems[3]
3 - as long as you strap buttered toast, buttered side up, to their back

Fluffy cows can approach sphericality, when viewed from a certain direction. They also come with built in deflation devices. I'll leave it to the reader to attach buttered cats.

Perhaps SpaceX will experiment with a new ablative tps? An upgrade from spam perhaps?

You know that feeling, when you come to a party a few hours late and everyone is hanging around in the chillout zone with dilated eyes, drooling and making weird confusing noises or words that make no sense, while there's this odd smell in the air?

this thread, right, now ;)

Any determination on landing bingo yet? I'd like to submit this evidence.  ;)

That looks tantalizingly close to my M-22 bingo spot!  :D

BTW, just some incredible photos there.

Edit: Irrefutable evidence puts the F9 center just two squares diagonally further from the center. My closest result yet though!
