Reminds me of a lot of other movies done before other similar horrors maybe similar to Life 2017 movie. 'Parasitic' theme or zombie alien mind control 'Horror', Last Days on Mars, Impostor 2001, the Meat-Puppetry in magic fantasy movies or scifi like The Expanse, Parasites in the South Korea show and Japan toon Parasyte, the Russian movie Sputnik that came out around the global Covid pandemic lockdowns. Or maybe like Dead Space video game animation or a Monster like Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland, the whole theme of Marvel Spider-Man Venom Symbiote or Gray goo or 'Nano grey goo' the horror remake 'The Thing' 1982 by John Carpenter.

Then again, everything has been done in some way, and that doesn't mean that it cannot be re-done in a better way.
