Two official communiqué from Institute of Plasma Research, Gandhinagar and CSIR-CEERI, Pilani suggest PSLV-C54 would carry Technology Demonstration Satellite 01 (TDS-01) which is supposed to host demonstrators for Electric Propulsion system, indigenous atomic clock and Travelling Wave Tube Amplifier (TWTA).

(ISRO) chairman S Somanath announced during the Sardar Patel Lecture at Akashvani that the first Technology Demonstrator Satellite, TDS-01, featuring indigenously developed electric thrusters, will be launched this December.
Is this launch still scheduled for 2024? Or, has it been delayed into 2025?Edit/add: If there are no GSLV MkII launches scheduled for the remainder of the year, then one of the three PSLV launches scheduled in December could launch from the SLP.

NSIL signed contract with M/s HAL [Lead Partner of M/s HAL and L&T consortia] for End-to-End production of 5 Nos. of Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV). The 1st fully Indian Industry manufactured PSLV is envisaged to be launched during Q2 of 2025.

The first rocket built entirely by industry is expected to launch around Oct-Nov 2025. The contract is purely for fabrication, using Isro’s design and established supply chain.
