We all know NASA has at east 2 Explorat6ion Missions to fly past Luna.  EM-1 is a 3 week mission which will spend 6 days in a distant retrograde orbit of the Moon.
EM-2 will carry 4 astronauts in a crewed Orion capsule and will use multi-translunar injection (MTLI) burns with a free return trajectory when coming home.

Does NASA actually have any plans to land upon Luna's surface?

CLPS lands several small cargo landers on the Moon starting in 2-3 years time.
Manned landings NET 10 years away.

I think it would be helpful to distinguish between government launches and private launches.  For example, neither Sparrow nor dearMoon are being done by government agencies, and so it seems inappropriate to assign them to particular countries (or at least not to note that they are privately funded).

Under the Outer Space Treaty nations are responsible for launches from their territory. I think it would be best to note the missions are privately funded.

Do NASA missions allow for mixture of NASA and commercial payloads, especially if NASA payload leaves lot of spare capacity.

If NASA allows this it may allow for more frequent and lower cost missions for NASA.

They do under the CLPS mission architecture. I have not heard of that being offered for normal NASA missions as typically the payloads and spacecraft are designed in synergy.

Added also Japan impactor  OMOTENASHI and the steam propelled (???) EQUULEUS, both for December this year.

Cool!  A steam-powered spacecraft (EQUULEUS)!

Snooping around on line, I see that omotenashi denotes good customer service.  It is something like "customer is always right," although the literal translation is closer to "the customer is god" (and, in my experience, customer service in Japan is in a class of its own).  That might seem a strange name for a spacecraft, especially for a robotic one, but I gather the phrase is heard frequently these days as Japan prepares to host the 2020 Olympics.

Neither spacecraft will launch in December of this year, though.  Both being secondary payloads on SLS, they'll go when it goes -- maybe 2021?  Hopefully, Japan will deliver omotenashi for its Olympics visitors, even if Omotenashi flies well afterward!

New entry:
Firefly to build U.S. version of Israeli Beresheet lunar lander

Quote
Firefly’s name for the U.S.-made lander, Genesis, honors the Israeli name Beresheet, which means “genesis” or “in the beginning” in Hebrew.
Construction of Genesis landers will be done in the United States.
Firefly plans to initially launch its Alpha rocket in December 2019, but is more likely to occur next year.

Launch schedule?!?
