The November Terran R program update is out. Progress is building across design, build, test, and launch as hardware and infrastructure ramp forward.

🏭 On the floor, teams completed all circumferential welds on the first stage tank and wrapped acceptance testing on the second stage tank.

🖥️ Thrust structure HITL hardware integration is complete, enabling software, avionics, and partner teams to validate designs ahead of run-for-record testing.

🔥 At NASA Stennis, testing continues with both Aeon R and Aeon V engines.

🌴 At LC-16, the water tower tank is now placed atop the downcomer, with siding and structural work continuing across the HIF.

...and much more.

At Launch Complex 16, construction continues to rise across every corner of the pad.

🔹 Water tower tank placed atop the downcomer; final weldments underway
🔹 Horizontal integration facility siding now covers more than half the structure; ladders, walkways, and stairs installed
🔹 LOX farm upgraded with installation of 3x 170,000-gallon tanks
🔹 Lightning protection system towers structurally complete

Rare launches for the Artemis program aside, the Eastern Range is preparing for another big year in orbital launches. Teams are readying for a future where by 2035, according to some external studies, the Cape may juggle 350 or more launches per year from a host of launch providers.

“It’s very possible that you could have a launch by either of them by the end of the calendar year. Stoke is a provider on Lane 1 of [the National Security Space Launch contract]. Relativity is not, but we’re excited to see both of those successes.”
